The place is centrally located near the copenhagen central train station. Convenient for business travelers. Breakfast provided was very good! The room was spacious though the amenities available in the room could be better.
Wireless Internet could be provided rather than just wired Internet in the room. Charging of handling fees for international credit card payment could be waived.

Always a friendly welcom at the DGI. Free use of the swimming pool and gym is excellent. Good choice at breakfast.
Can be noisy if on the train-track side. Location is not the pretty side of the tracks but only a short walk to the station and into the main part of the city centre beyond.

Clean hotel, staff was very kind. Not too expensive. Great possibilities for people who want to combine vacation/city tours and a little work out, swimming hall and fitness for free, good variety of barbells etc. Only 5 minutes walk to Tivoli, 10 for being downtown. Piles of Bars/Clubs around Stroget, friendly&funny people. Classic danish breakfast buffet at the restaurant right next to the basic hotel, as usual until 10 a.m.. Would be a great idea to bring a bike if possible, everthing is even easier to achieve then, also in the nightlife because cabs are rather expensive.
Parking ist pretty expensive, almost no other possibilities than staying in the car park.

Location is great for city vacation. Nice to be able to use the swimming facilities. Room was clean and not too noisy.
Paid for an upgrade and asked if there was a doublebed and was told yes. Got to the room and had 2 beds pushed together instead. Breakfast was boring.

The securised parking area, the swimming-pool, the staff
The hotel is built near a very noisy place : the railways of the central station. The trains go in and out all day and night with very big noise. Then in summer, it's not possible to open the window to fresh the room. The ventilation is very bad (no air-conditioned). The corridors are very long : not easy for old people and handicapped persons. No hot meals at the breakfast. No mini-bar. The third bed is a folding one.

Cereals, scrambled eggs and slices of fresh bread served for breakfast were appetising. The standard twin room was huge, trendy, with a brilliant bathroom. The location was unbeatable and incredible: supermarkets and shops were within walking distance.

we have stayed at this hotel before and although located on the edge of an industrial area, it is in easy walking distance of many city attractions, main rail station 2 mins, tivoli 5 mins, main shopping street 10 mins. The hotel also has a secure underground car park, although this was quite expensive. The hotel is modern but very basic, just a small reception area and vending machine for drinks / candy. There is no bar. The hotel is attached to a large sports complex with swimming pools, bowling alley, fitness centre etc use of the pool is free to hotel guests. we stayed in the superior class room which are a reasonable size. the room had 2 small single beds, tv and a kettle. also wired internet access. the bathroom had a bath with shower
The room we had was looking quite tired but it was fairly clean. The noise from trains was quite annoying. The hotel has no resturant, it is located in a seperate building appron 50 mtrs across from the main hotel entrance. Not good when its raining you get soaked. Breakfast is the usual basic contenental type, and if you like toast in a morning then tough luck there is no toaster. overall i think this hotel is overpriced and not at all good value for money.

Terrible! Nothing good. Rooms are about at 35 degrees, without conditioning!!! Problem with internet and parking, reception bad, problem with parking! The worst hotel I ever been, for 100 euros per night!!! Choose an other hotel!

It was just a commendable fit for strolling around in Copenhagen with excellent value. I enjoyed having hot porridge for breakfast. It was nice! Make sure to request a room away from the train station for a quieter night.

The hotel staff where very polite & helpful.
The rooms where basic and the hotel was more like a youth hostel. I payed 150 euro for the night on a business trip. The bathroom still had blood on the tiles from the last occupant who had stayed in the room. The heating didnt work and the fixture & fittings where put together by what looked like a 10 year old!! I do allot of travelling in my work and this is the first time I have written down a complaint, So believe me dont stay there unless you have no other choice.. Hotel from hell> oh yes and the train station is over the road and the double glazing is pooe, so dont try and go to bed before 2 am.

Good location right next to central station with friendly knowledgable staff and an amble breakfast
Hallways and rooms need to be refreshed as they are showing much wear. Rooms are quite noisy at night as the hotel is very close to the rail lines - bring ear plugs. Also there is no wifi in the rooms just the lobby

It has a great location and several facilities
On arrival DGI-Byens was unable to accommodate us despite a booking two months previously and relocated us to The Anderson hotel instead.

The Breakfast was Very well diverse and quite good.
The Photos did not match the location & after paying a premium for room the pool facilities were extra. The location is close to an amusement park and seems to cater to family’s and locals for the use of the pool. I wish I had known this and would have chosen another location.
